Designed specifically for our Captain Bed range at its higher setting — you get a full set of drawers and still have space below for a trundle bed. Storage and an extra sleeper, in the same slot.

How it's built
Our cabinets lead a very different life to our bunk beds, so they're built differently. Cabinet bodies and drawer boxes are 16mm furniture-grade particleboard wrapped in tough, durable melamine, custom-made to match your bed finish. Drawer fronts are 19mm plywood with the same stain or paint finish as your bunk, so they match in looks and in strength. Backs and drawer bases are 5mm MDF, with extra bracing under our deep drawer units, and the drawers run on steel tracks with nylon wheels.

King Single sets add an external plate to span the extra width. The drawers themselves are identical in both sizes — three boxes of 51 × 68 cm.

Stained Timber & Clear Timber
Natural timber variations result in unique tone, depth and grain for every piece of furniture. Colour variations can occur within different batches of product processing
White Finish
A Bunkers product finished in our White finish still has the same solid timber construction underneath. The natural characteristics of your solid pine product can be visible through the paint finish. This includes timber grain, knots and imperfections. Tannins contained within knots may cause a visual yellowing effect through the paint surface over time.
Assembly
All Bunkers products are designed to assemble in your home. Assembling our products can take a little longer, but that's because we make them stronger!

Communication with Kirsty was great, and the bed arrived in speedy time (amazingly so for such a large package). I just wanted a simple sturdy 4 legged double bed and this one fits the bill perfectly. I chose the dark brown finish which goes well with my older mid century furniture.

Did a lot of research about a loft bed with desk and shelves underneath. Went with Bunkers as seemed to be more sturdy and suitable for an older teenager than other retailers, including that northern European behemoth. Very happy we went with Bunkers. Great outcome. The entire process of selecting, buying, receiving and then building a set of double over double bunk beds could not have been easier or more pleasant. We wanted to change the colour of the beds after purchase and with a single email this was resolved.
When were were selecting mattresses from a store, I e-mail Bunkers to see what their recommended height was for the mattresses was for the top bunk. I got an email back with an answer from Kirsty within 5 minutes while we were still at the store with an answer.
I usually get frustrated at putting together furniture but assembly was really simple easy to understand and with very well made materials. I had a question as there aren’t pre drilled holes in some part and I wanted to double check. Again with a quick call, Kirsty again answered all my questions with valid reasons as to why the holes aren’t pre drilled.
My boys are very excited to sleep in their new beds and I’m very grateful for how easy this whole process was from start to finish due to great service and a top product. -
We purchased a 3 in 1 bunk bed from Bunkers. At all times we were kept informed of when our order would come. The bunk set was easy to put together by my husband and son. The delivery guys were great and very helpful with moving the parcels to where the beds were to be set up.
